Popular X influencer, Pamilerin, has sparked a heated debate online after sharing a controversial opinion about the 2027 presidential elections in Nigeria.
In a now-deleted tweet, Pamilerin boldly declared that no political figure, whether Atiku Abubakar, Nasir El-Rufai, or Peter Obi stands a chance against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next election.
“Let’s be honest with ourselves, unless we’re here to deceive each other, we should just start preparing for 2031. Nobody is beating Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” the tweet read.
He went on to question the structure of the opposition coalition, asking who exactly is leading the alliance and who its key players are while casting doubt on its ability to challenge the ruling power effectively.
The tweet, though later deleted, triggered widespread reactions across social media platforms.
Supporters of the opposition criticized his statement, while some netizens agreed with Pamilerin’s concerns about the lack of clear direction within the opposition camp.
