Gloria Oloruntobi, the Nigerian comedian better known as
Maraji, and her husband Joshua Mensah are expecting their third child.
The content creator broke the news on Instagram on Tuesday
with a humorous video of herself.
She captioned the post “you dey carry belle every year”.
Maraji’s pregnancy announcement comes shortly after Josh
Alfred, the skit maker better known as Josh2funny, and his wife revealed they
are expecting their third child.
In 2021, Maraji disclosed that she and her Ghanaian partner
Joshua had their private wedding in Ghana.
The lovebirds welcomed their first child in 2022 and their
second child in January 2024.
In August 2024, Maraji revealed she and her family were involved in a car
accident on their way back from church.
The 28-year-old gained fame on social media back in 2016,
when a video of her making lip sync videos and miming songs was released by a
friend of hers.
The video generated thousands of views across all social
media platforms. The comedian effortlessly mimics numerous Nigerian
peculiarities for humour.
She has since then become a household name for her hilarious
skits. In her comedy skits, Maraji switches between accents and vocal pitches
to suit each character she plays.
The Edo state indigene holds a bachelor’s degree in
International Relations from Covenant University.
